Get Involved
If you feel inspired by what you’ve heard so far, why not get involved? Here are a few ideas to get you started.
Volunteering
The Biojemmss UK and Ugandan teams are growing, and we need people like you! If you are passionate about seeing the lives of children changed and have a skill you think we could use, tell us a bit about yourself via email. Volunteering is a great way to make new friends, boost your CV and support us as we change lives!

Those volunteering in our UK roles often have the opportunity to visit Uganda and see the work we do first hand. Aside from these bespoke trips, we do take out small teams of volunteers for specific events to join our Ugandan team. Please contact us via email should you wish to apply for an opportunity.
Fundraising
Raising funds is a fantastic way to contribute much-needed resources to support our work and to showcase the incredible Biojemmss kids.
If you are in Uganda and wish to donate goods, finances, or your time, please email us at info@biojemmss.com to connect with a member of our local team.
Fundraising events take place across the country, including in the UK, and have featured activities such as:
- Sponsored marathons
- A Mad Hatter’s tea party
- Making and selling bunting
- A Posh Nosh (a meal where everyone brings a dish and a donation)
- Biojemmss breakfasts
- An arts and crafts event
These events don’t have to be large or time-consuming. Many people have used hobbies such as jam-making or knitting to make a significant impact.
If you would like some ideas or have already fundraised and wish to send in your contributions, please contact us.

Prayer
We would love it if you could commit to praying for Biojemmss on a regular basis. For prayer requests, please contact us.

Contributing to Biojemmss: Letters, Gifts, and Donations
To send letters or cards to Biojemmss in Uganda, please contact us first to ensure they align with our guidelines.
For larger packages, we recommend using Lontex Cargo, which has drop-off locations across the UK and a headquarters in London. We have a dedicated person in the UK managing our shipments, collecting donated items and contributions towards shipping costs.
If you prefer to organise your own shipment, please let us know. Alternatively, you can include your donations in our regular shipments.
These shipments provide high-quality children's items essential for our initiatives, significantly impacting the lives of the children we support.
Contact us to discuss arrangements.
